Windows XP driver does not seem to work

Hello,

The driver does not seem to work on the Windows XP. Once the BioWell firmware installed, we plugged the device but Windows fails to find its driver. It remains unrecognized...

Hello,
Windows XP is supported only till version 5.5.3 of the Bio-Well software.
Please check.

Hello,

We are using the latest build of the XP version to date (5.5.3) and did take note that the XP version is no longer updated.

Yet, isn't this version supposed to be at the very least functional? How come that the driver supplied with this version does not seem to be detected by Windows and the Bio-Well device does not install properly? We are not talking about adding new features here, just basic usability. It apparently fails to meet such a minimal demand.

I attached screenshot of the complete install process so that you can see what I mean. Please find the first 10 screenshots below. The remainder will be posted in another reply.

I can understand that no new features shall be added to the XP version but find rather unacceptable that it does not even work.

That is very strange.
Were you using Bio-Well software and device on this computer before with Bio-Well software 5.5.2 and earlier?
From the screenshots provided I can't understand whether you are installing 5.5.3 or 5.5.4 version.
Please log in to Bio-Well software and see the software version on the top left part of the screen.
If it is possible - write to my address directly - orlov@bio-well.com.

Isn't the latest version of the Bio-Well software for Windows XP version 5.5.3 and wasn't it released in November 2016?

Why are you even mentioning version 5.5.4?

We bought our Bio-Well device in March 2017 and downloaded the XP version of the build 5.5.3 on May the 22nd!

We cannot check the version right now: when we saw that this version was dysfunctional, we restored the system to its state prior to the install. But we just re-downloaded the install program from the "Windows XP Software Download" link on the above mentioned download page and can confirm that this is what we installed on our system - exact same size as the exe file we downloaded in May and used for the install. And in answer to your question, no, we never installed version 5.5.2 on this computer.
